The Monastery of The Old Gods was established on the shores of Civitas long before it was called Civitas, or that land was a shore - it started as a single room cabin near the Necropolis. As the lands changed during war, famine, and disaster, the land shifted and the current Monastery was created as a space in which the Old Gods could be celebrated over 1500 years ago. Since its inception, it has become a religious haven for those finding the politics of Priomh and the surrounding villages difficult.

The Monastery hosts one of the oldest known libraries. The catacombs underneath the Monastery have been shut off due to disappearances and deaths over 400 years ago. The information on how to enter those catacombs has long since been lost.

As Eldrich Halloway's rules and proclamations have driven people from Priomh (and even Lomond), many have gathered in the Monastery, which has now much more than just a spiritual hub for the people within and around it.
